Experience on the water means respect: how long we've been sailing, how much experience we have, the distance we've covered.
We're two years into our journey and have sailed 10,000 miles across 21 countries.
There's no doubt that this is an experience.
But our actual experience lies in the moments—the laughter, the acquaintances, the hobbies, the storms, the accidents.

The miles are a number that increases just like our age, but the experiences we pour into them are what truly matter.
Every place we've visited, every beach, every friend, every pain, and every scar tells a story - a story that's written in our journey, mile by mile, beach by beach. They shape us, our family, and our perspective on the world and our place within it.

Sometimes, I wonder how much more we can experience, and then I'm surprised that there's always more.
The two years have gone by too quickly, and it's a bit hard to digest. We've achieved so much, and there's still so much to accomplish. We feel the same, but a bit more relaxed, seasoned, and practiced.
We appreciate the small moments of morning cuddles with the kids without worrying about being late for something, just as we appreciate fulfilling a dream.
And we turn difficult events into experiences, understanding that it's part of the story.
We've become accustomed to living with uncertainty, out of humility and appreciation for Neptune and the lessons we've learned along the way. And we choose every day to continue anew.

Somewhere along the way, this journey became our way of life, as normal to us as going to work and school in the morning. We've learned, loved, parted ways, cried, met, explored, traveled, and, above all, collected experiences and stories.
We wrote plans in the sand while the tide was low and watched them wash away with the tide.
We've strengthened our dream-realization muscles and aren't afraid to take bold steps.
We went with what was right for us and learned to face conflicts with societal expectations.
Go out and take your experiences into your own hands. Whether it's short breaks from life, a months-long journey, on a boat, or in a caravan, find your way to experience and write your own story.
