Baking Adventures: Hamantash on the High Seas

Join us aboard the culinary ship as we craft the Sea Voyager's Hamantash. Treasures hidden within the tender dough and filled with the rich bounty of Nutella, reminiscent of a pirate's loot, these pastries, shaped like a pirate's hat, serve as beacons through the storied seas of tradition, inviting you to navigate the delicious unknown.

Assemble your crew and ingredients for a baking adventure that celebrates the exploratory spirit of the high seas. With every fold into the famous triangular shape, you'll craft pastries that not only taste of adventure but also resemble the iconic hats worn by seafarers of legend.


Fresh Hamantaschen cookies with Nutella filling

Ingredients (for 20 pieces):

Dough:

  • 100g (3/4 cup) powdered sugar

  • 200g cold butter

  • 2 cups (280g) all-purpose flour

  • 2 large egg yolks


Filling:

  • 1/2 cup Nutella

  • 3 crushed Petit Beurre

  • Mix the Nutella and the Petit Beurre crumbles together for a treasure-filled


Instructions

Assemble & Bake:

  1. Roll the dough

  2. Cut circles (you can use a cup)

  3. Fill each cycle and fold the tips to the famous triangle shape,

  4. Bake at 170°C for 15 mins until golden

Garnish and Serve:  Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
