Explorer's Delight Pizza Recipe

Fresh pizza out of the oven with onions, bell peppers ad basil toppings

Capture the spirit of adventure with each bite of our Explorer's Delight Pizza. Begin with homemade dough, rolling it out thin to mirror the endless horizon. Layer rustic tomato sauce over this base, as inviting as the open sea, followed by a cascade of mozzarella, reminiscent of whitecaps in the waves. Add a selection of your favorite toppings before baking until the crust turns into golden treasure. This pizza serves as your flavor compass, guiding you through a sea of tastes with every slice.



Ingredients (makes 3 medium-sized pizzas):

Dough:

  • 1/2 kg flour

  • 2 spoons yeast

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 1/4 cup water


Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Your choice of toppings

  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish


Instructions:

Prepare the Dough: 

  1. Mix ingredients until smooth.

  2. Let it rise until doubled

  3. Divide into three balls, and allow to rest for 15 minutes.

Assemble the Pizza: 

  1. Preheat your oven to 230°C.

  2. Roll out the dough

  3. Add sauce, cheese, and toppings.

  4. Bake for 12-13 minutes.


Garnish and Serve:  Finish with fresh basil and extra mozzarella.
